You're right, RG, now that I think about it.
If Schmucky Schumer wants to put actions to his words...HE would step down over the illegal acquisition of Michael Steele's credit records.
Oh, absolutely he brought that up as well as the possible conflict of interest Schmuckie might have as head of the senatorial committee. Schmuckie was given every opportunity to explain away all of those little "problems." That's why I said (and I believe) the script was worked out between them in advance.
The first segment on Reliable sources is the firing of the Attorney's. A reasonable balance of guests. Kurtz however shows his dem stripes and his lefty leaning in his questions.
Peirre Thomas thinks it is all politics.
Frum talks about the coverage, that the story is really one big NOTHING; Kurtz is surprised he calls it a big NOTHING.
Jerlyn Merrit is also a guest and she talks about how the bloggers are really driving this story; she thinks the whole story is a big deal. WOW, the media always screams for the admin to admit it makes mistakes, then takes them to task for admitting them.
Kurtz: drip drip drip of emails showing the White House was intimately involved. NO DUH -- these guys are political appointees.
Frum says that Gonzales is safe, and not going anywhere. There is NO scandal here. This whole thing revolves around the testimony, rather than the action of the firing.
I think her only hope is to have a third party candidate split off the conservatives. Even her husband, who has greater political acumen that she, could not win without H. Ross Perot.
So the strategy would be to promote a third party candidacy. Whether it's McCain or some other nakedly self serving malcontent.
Does that mean he's one of the "Clintonoids with their hemmorhoids"? /levin mode
:-) Chris didn't go through what regular people do in a job. I don't know if he's open to change.
And we're still in it.
As dangerous as the Dhimmicrats are to this nation... they are highly-focused when it comes to attacking Republicans and this administration. With the DBM by their side, they cowed a Republican administration and turned a Republican majority into a weak and spineless minority. With the 2006 losses... RINO's have increased their power in Congress and our two leading presidential candidates for 2008 could easily pass for conservative Democrats.
I would say that we're not only still in this destructive period... but that we don't have any intention of leaving it as well.
Watch out, everyone. As indicated by MTP this morning, the media is doubling down with the media to force a withdrawal from Iraq.
Here is a post from governs that supports my contention, not that I think ya'll would doubt me.

LOL
No, but there's a reason why the junior Senator from MA has no friends in the Senate.
It reminds me of a bunch of criminals getting together and working out their alibi just before they are taken in for questioning.
"Ok look...if we ever get caught...here's what we say..."
So was the Plame thing. The media has learned its craft well and is shameless. We have a big, big problem here.
Merrit and Kurtz talking about Dominici calling ag's, but refuse to discuss how Schumer asked Fitzy what was going on in the leak investigation. All-in-all a not very balanced perspective.
However, Kurtz does mention at the end, how the nets were all over the Anna Nicole Smith story instead of mentioning this one when it was on-going. They only started covering it when the Anna Story was essential told out.
He mentioned Olbermann as if he is a valid person; where we all know that the Olberidiot is just a hack who lies (of course, everyone on NBC/MSNBC lies all the time).
Heh. Hey GM. Your point, ahem, is not lost on me.
Except for goodness sake the LAST person I expected to declare Valerie Plame as a BABE, and I swear Rush was drooling on the air, was Limbaugh.
Come on, a guy like Limbaugh can get most any so-called BABE he wants. Why's he go on like that in front of his audience who he has to know HATES Natasha Plame?
Further, his BABE sound bite gives creepy pervert Joe Wilson something to smile about ...hey, he's gotta wife that even Rush Limbaugh thinks is a BABE. The last thing I want is for Joe Wilson to have a smirk yet Rush with his testicle-talk, gave him one.
Hey, Rush mentioned this BABE thing a couple of times during his show...it wasn't just a quick mention. He also said if Val wasn't married he'd throw HIS hat in the ring for her. Made me want to vomit.
So okay, okay, I'm mad at Rush. He doesn't care what I think. Rush has never cared much for his female audience members at any rate. For the first time in years I actually do NOT want to listen to him tomorrow.
I'll sum it up by my own smirk...it is a known fact that Rush Limbaugh takes VIAGARA!!!!
Hey, Rush....if you can't get it up then VAL the BABE ain't gonna want YOU. Val likes manly men like Joe Wilson.
Also, I may not be a BABE but I never had a man what couldn't get it up. A man who can't get it up is essentially worthless.
Tell me I'm not right.
Oh, no, Specter wants to legislate regarding the power of the President to hire and fire US Attorneys. He wants some "perameters." He thinks they have the power to do that.
I'm not going to quote your post because folks need to go back and read it again.
EVERY word you wrote is so true.
The Dems are sooooooo good. And face it guys, when we're playing a "game", be a sport or a board game, we do what it takes to win. There are evidently no "rules" in politics and yet the pubbies continue to play by some set of weird rules that require one to smile as the opposition pisses upon their feet and tells them it's raining.
LOL....dang, 1st PLACE.
contest over...
