Hmmmm...well I'll tell you and everyone else who suggests that Rush was pulling our leg.

And yep, I've been listening to Rush for many years and I've heard his satire. I usually get it.

If I'm wrong about the Plame comments I'll stand on my head and apologize to Rush publicly.

I notice no females are defending Rush. That's because females know when a man is serious about his lust. I still think Rush was serious.

He thinks she's a BABE. Which she is, I've said it before.

He just said it at a time when I was in no mood to hear it. If he had held off until this week or something maybe I'd be more forgiving.

I think I have a fine sense of humor. And I think Rush would "do" Natasha Plame in a minute. Rush has a proven really bad track record with women.

Thanks, anita. What a great Ann Coulter piece. Don't you wish Gates was as forthcoming on stuff like Walter Reed as Rumsfeld was?

Did you happen to see the Wall Street Report last night at eleven? They were going to have Victoria Toensing's Hubby Joe Digenova on to comment since he was a former Federal Attorney. I fell asleep and did not even get a chance to see the repeat. A little under the Weather or I would have set my alarm for it.

snugs...the dems never want to talk about the danger in New Orlean, Louisiana....THAT is because they can't tie the violence and murder there NOW to Pres. Bush..

I know what you mean though...the lack of perspective by the MSM and the dems regarding the Iraq War IS the story right now, IMHO>

great post.

Clearly Rush was trolling for comments. He found you. I have been listening to Rush since 1989. He pulls stuff like this all the time. Like when he changed to the dem party. If you could not hear the sarcasm in his comment, you really need a humor transplant. I laughed my ass off when he said it!

For gosh sake, lighten up with the "Babe" comment. Even my mother thought it was funny, and she's 75! I took it as a total put-down to this blonde bimbo so-called super secret undercover CIA spy. Rush knows she and her husband are liars and has covered this whole affair with outrage since its beginning. I think Rush is fed up like the rest of us with yet another week of non-scandals and Repubs not fighting back, so he just had to laugh.

I think he was serious, I think he considered her a babe.

You still don't get it.

SHE IS A BABE.

There are a few of us men who dont apologize for our natural reaction to a pretty woman. Plame's looks are undeniable. The a man's natural reaction to a pretty woman is also to turn off their ears, and cognitive reasoning ability.

Rush was simply pointing out that for the men in that Senate chamber, they didn't hear a word she said. Every time her lips moved, the men were hearing moaning and cooing, and nothing that came out of her mouth.

You may not like it, but every man(who is still proud to be a man) that heard Rush, just nodded their head in agreement.

We knew what he meant, and it is time for women to understand that when it comes to certain stimuli, we just don't care if you have a brain in your head. We just don't. We DONT.

WE DONT.

Well PD, I appreciate your honesty.

Doesn't mean I think boorish behavior should be excused under the heading "boys will be boys".

John Murtha was on Wolfie's show a few minutes ago...and he said that "we don't know that chaos will happen if we pull out of Iraq...we don't know if the surrounding countries would harm Iraq....ALL we have to go on is the White House's assertions...and we know they can't be trusted"...

Murtha SERIESLY said that the White House is lying about the consequences of a surrender in Iraq...and that in his opinion NOTHING bad would happen.

Where have we heard THAT opinion before?? Oh, when jon f'n carry told the Senate that nothing bad would happen if the USA withdrew/surrendered in Vietnam...no??

Here is the great Sen. Kerry on FNS and there are very few posts about his comments. Apparently he had nothing substantial to say. Come to think of it, he wouldn't anyway.....

ROTFL at your "Pubbies that appear on these shows should bring a dog squeaker toy with them, and whenever Buffalo Butt or Wolfie or Steffie starts to interrupt they should squeak the toy a few times."

I think, this all started when Rumsfeld was cannibalized. Once you start down the path of appeasement, the appetite of the liberals only grows. We need to hold the line in the face of the enemy and not sacrifice our own for the sake of appeasement and an appetite that cannot ever be satisfied.

Snugs, I got a true story for you.....

I was once on a dinner date with a very pretty woman who was, shall we say.....healthy endowed?

I was not on my best behavior, and she asked me to close my eyes, and then asked me to tell her what color her eyes were.

I said: " I really don't know, but you can have anything on the menu if you forgive me".

It worked.

I see the "babe" discussion from Rush, as his Ann Coulter's "f___t" comment at the CPAC.

They were both trying to illustrate the "society" that we have right now...and the sham that it creates re: politics.
