I'm at a loss for words, other than the author probably is not subject to mandatory urinalysis.

Ronald Brownstein, faux journalist who's wife worked on the Kerry Campaign.

I have trouble watching Fox because they trot out every ugly Birkenstocker in North America to make the network seem impartial. For God's sake, they have Jerry Rivers on staff! I simply can't look.

Then it advances its financial and ideological interests by promoting lurid accusations from conservatives against Democrats, accusations that are routinely debunked later by the mainstream media. A real journalist, when making such a substantial claim of repeated transgressions, would provide at least one, and correctly many, concrete examples of this outrageous behavior.
The fact that he provides exactly none reveals much about the charge and the typist who typed it.

How can they turn against something they haven't ever liked in the first place?

Does this article qualify as a view that's so narrow they can look through a keyhole with both eyes? (that would be most libs)

Its clear that the Democrats have preference to the media that write their way. I sure if they had their way there would be only one source news.

Neal Boortz has challenged any listener to come up with a single instance of right-wing bias on an FNC news broadcast. So far, the only thing anyone has come up with are comments by, well, commentators like Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity, which have nothing to do with FNC's actual news coverage. The only thing I can come up with is Fox's stubborn adherence to the needlessly redundant dysphemism "Homicide Bomber", and that's politically neutral as far as I'm concerned.

The opposition knows very well that the best defense is offense. They do this over and over and over.
Not only is it obvious, but the MSM admits itself in survey after survey that they support the Democrats and do not give the President a fair break. Rather than get into a debate about it which they cannot possibly win, they change the subject to a debate about FNC. Having done that, they make extreme, outrageous and also false but vague accusations like FNC being a 'cog in the Republican machine' that can be difficult to counter. That is no coincidence. That is part of the tactic. They are so, so good at this.

The situation isn't exactly parallel. For all the howling on the right, it's difficult to argue that mainstream news organizations operate with anything approaching Fox' partisan and ideological agenda.
OKaaaayyy Ron...you mean CBS, PBS and the NYTimes aren't as partisan as FOX NEWS? LOL...Dan Rather still believes his phony docs are real.....idiot.
Stay away from those Komoto Dragons Ron....the poison has really messed up your objectivity.

The Main slime media and papers are losing people to Fox News. They hate Fox because they present both sides. So to try to run away any more people leaving them. They decide to smear Fox.
I personally think Fox is a bit Lib for me, but its a hell of a lot better than anything else out there.

Ann Coulter recently pointed out that Fox News has more Liberal commentators than all the other networks combined have Conservative commentators.
Liberals aren't contented that they control most of the news media. What they want is no voice at all for conservative commentary, anywhere, ever.

The LA. Times is a liberal biased rag.
The marketing reps./distributors have difficulties with promoting their newspaper and with circulation in many regions of California.

Fox must be doing a decent job, if the MSM complains about them.

As callers to radio talk shows have pointed out, if the Democrats are afraid of Fox News what the hell will they do if defending the Nation becomes their responsibility?
