Bears repeating. Thompson is a conservative Southern man with a sense of propriety. And he didn't divorce a dying wife on her deathbed (Newt) or engage in the despicable behavior Rudi did in the Hanover divorce.

I think Newt and Rudi would have liabilities with women voters because of how they've treated ex-wives. Thompson wouldn't.
