All of this might have been merely a story about a boyfriend and girlfriend who broke up and managed to stay friends, except that Jon is Gov. Jon S. Corzine and Carla is Carla Katz, president of New Jersey's biggest state employee union. And the two have been on opposite sides lately during contract talks covering 40,000 workers.

Those of us who have lived in New Jersey for ANY amount of time quickly know this is "business as usual" in the Peoples Republic of NJ. I have also come to feel that this is where the rest of our country is headed/been headed unless a true conservative can become president in '08.

"CWA political director Bob Master said no complaints have been lodged against Katz from within the union."
Of course not! They are all as corrupt as the day is long.

Without the FBI being involved nothing will ever change in Joizy. It will be a corrupt stinkhole for as long as the eye can see.

No worries. They're both Dems. They'll get a pass like every other Dem who gets caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

Wait. I've heard this story before. He's going to announce that he is gay and resign. Since he's gay, he can't be prosecuted.

Corzine won't resign but he's most likely a switch hitter.

I really hope the spineless (R)'s don't apologize for this, and publicly state that it is Bush's fault.

GOPers, do not delude yourselves that this is a Dim only problem in New Jersey, it's not. Most (I said MOST) of the leadership of the entire political class of NJ is infected with corruption, Dim, GOP and otherwise. It's a corrupt state; every bit as bad as Lousyannie. (Lived in NJ since 1982).

And which politico from which party is going to demand a "special prosecutor". Whoops, it will take one who does not live in a glass house. Whoops again, there are none. So, it ain't going to happen.
