Question: was Joe Wilson still an ambassador at the time he was sent to Africa, or was he a former ambassador of some nation during Clinton? If he was still an ambassador during Bush or anywhere on the Bush payroll, they have no one but themselves to blame for this fiasco.

That's what I thought when I heard that. Not to go tinfoil hat here, but what was Armitage's involvement with the Wilsons, if any, prior to this? It almost seems as if Armitage fed Novak the bait. Novak bit, printed the story and the rest is history.
