Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) chairs a House Oversight and Government Reform Ctme. hearing on the disclosure of CIA Agent Valerie Plame Wilson's identity. The hearing will look into whether White House officials followed appropriate procedures for safeguarding the identity of Ms. Wilson.

My thoughts also. That the press allows this charade to continue unchecked is a perfect example of the liberal media bias.

I was responding to a post you made which said you wouldn't want a person with an uzi living next door. I disagreed with that statement, and gave an instance where I thought you WOULD want a person with an uzi living next door.
It had nothing to do with anybody attacking you, or me attacking you. It was about a specific statement you made, and my response to that statement.
I didn't attack you, nor did my comment have anything to do with any other attacks you may or may not have endured in this thread.
I've been trying to ignore all the petty sniping, and wouldn't respond to it. But I will respond to substantive statements, and your claim that you would not want a gun owner living next door was a substantive statement for which I thought a response was called for.

Well, that is true, although it is rare for a neighbor to break into your house because it's too easy to track them down and arrest them. (OF course, a lot of children do break into neighbor's houses, but that's a different matter).
It's more likely my neighbor will injure me or my family with his car than his gun.

A former CIA administrator just called in to Rush to rebut this, and gave the perfect proof of why it's not true: Once you walk back in the door of the CIA where the whole world can see you, you're about as covert as a pantiless Britney Spears at a Hollywood party.
I still want to know how a supposed covert, undercover agent is allowed to use her CIA cover company to make a donation to Al Gore's Presidential campaign. I believe by law, you are not allowed to participate in political campaigns through your job, especially if you are employed by any government agency. And with the company name being affiliated with her supposed CIA position as a covert agent, that would definitely have violated the law.
Even from the pictures on this thread, she looked so much better than I expected. I saw her once on TV when they had a press conference to announce the civil suit -- she looked and sounded like a bleached blonde tart! She must have called in some "appearance" consultant for this.

As we all know, truth has very little to do with politics and political grandstanding.
I've tried to listen to the hearings this morning with an open mind, but I see it's a farce. Waxman is pontificating about the White House and ignoring the obvious that Armitage was no where near the White House when the "covert" status of Plame was discussed with Novak.
This is all part of the Democrat methodology.
