ON CAPITOL HILL Valerie Wilson Testifies
Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) chairs a House Oversight and Government Reform Ctme. hearing on the disclosure of CIA Agent Valerie Plame Wilson's identity. The hearing will look into whether White House officials followed appropriate procedures for safeguarding the identity of Ms. Wilson.
FRIDAY, C-SPAN AT 10AM ET
One had pink hair!
I can only watch til 1:30....my grandsons are coming over.
Get a load of the CodePinko creatures in the back row, they are, all as one, madly in love with pudgy Joe's bleached wifey. Nostrilitus is chairing this VIP slop and he is a joke.
Wow, Vanity Fair, People, pressers, State Dinners, political and media dinners, and now a public hearing.
^^^^^^^
And yet the abcradio newsman "live" from the Capitol, breathlessly said that Valerie Plame will be telling her story for the first time!
FOUND IT .. she will be a witness
Witnesses
Ms. Valerie Plame Wilson, former employee, Central Intelligence Agency
Dr. James Knodell, Director, Office of Security, The White House
Mr. Bill Leonard, Director, Information Security Oversight Office, National Archives and Records Administration
Mr. Mark Zaid, Attorney
Ms. Victoria Toensing, diGenova & Toensing, LLP
I'll be on & off the thread, but will have all the tv's on so I do not miss anything.
I see Kookcinich is on the panel.
This may be even more amusing than I anticipated.
The spaceship landed ...
Kucinich arrives.
Ugh!
Waxman is in the House
Wow .. I never realized how short he is
LOL. Quite.
But seriously, what do they think she has to say? Sure, all this started with her getting her husband to go on that trip, but beyond that, hasn't *she* been as much a spectator as anyone else? In the end, it's not really about her. I can't imagine what new information they might think she has.
I hope Rep. Patrick McHenry is there....he should be unafraid to ask a hard question of Plame.
Waxman is "challenged" on a number of fronts.
Who whispered something like, "She's rethinking her decision to testify?"
Thank you!!!!
I almost forgot.
They'll be more softballs thrown than at a company picnic.
Waxman looks euphoric in the Chairman's chair. He has been waiting twelve long years for this "rightful" place to sit!
I wonder if the code pinkos ther are the same ones who got arrested yesterday at an Appropriations Committee hearing?
I wonder if Rep Watson is wearing pink in solidarity or in ignorance?
I missed it .. my Cspan on TV was doing a Test
Waxman started the hearing
1) By calling this testimony, does this mean she will be put under oath?
2) And were there conditions on her appearing? Getting the questions ahead of time, guarantees that certain subjects were off the table, that kind of thing.
Anyone heard?
