telling us about the apocalypse they will soon deliver. It does beg the question to be answered, and I don't know the answer, but....is this nut-job about to try and deliver?
I'd want to know before he came within 1000 miles of the US, if I was our leadership.

They have already let a number of Iranian leaders come here. Ahmadinejad was here last summer if I recall.

Was Imadinnerjacket involved the the 1979 hostage-taking or not? No one can give me the definitive answer. The press has a picture of him holding on to one of the hostages. I saw a ex hostage interviewed on FOX, and the ex hostage said it was definitely him.
To: From One - Many
That is not what I meant. Our leaders have allowed this before and it puts into question the whole idea that we are involved in a global war on terror. If we were serious this guy would be dead or hiding in a bunker. Instead we let him stroll in and out of New York City to speak at the UN and maybe take in a Broadway show. All because we are afraid of offending the sensibilities of Democrats, college students, the French and half a dozen Belgians.

Perhaps our leadership should arrange an accident for this plane, far from the US, or we can forget about the WOT, there isn't one. I believe we agree, sorry I misread you...

This thing needs and operational field test somewhere over the Atlantic .... we need to see if it could shoot down an Iranian suicide airliner. We could call it the KAL007 test.

Somewhere in a US government SCIF, I'm sure we know how far they are, what the timetable is for them to complete it. I wish I knew, but I don't, and I know what the media tells be is all BS anyway.
It is evident that the US has a two pronged approach on Iran.
1. Force them to abandon their program like Libya did in 2003/04. Do this with economic, political pressure. So far I have not heard anything viable that would make me believe a military option will be executed, although this may change in the future (1 - 2 years) and plans like this always exist.
2. In parallel build a shield, which if our plan to stop them fails, minimizes or even neutralizes the capabilities they have with this capability. That's why the big push for a NATO system in Poland and the Czech Republic (Interceptor missiles).
If I had to guess, the DoD is planning on Iran having a limited initial capability within a few years, not months. The stationing of Interceptor missiles to Europe should be a fairly reliable indicator of this. Initial operational capability of this system won't for a while and this programs time-line is probably synchronized with emerging threats like Iran.
So, while the MSM talks there crap (as usual) and Iran talks its crap (as usual), I don't think the time-line for them having this capability is quiet so short as some state.

Thats what I was thinking. He's just coming over to help with the Hillary campaign. Good thing a dem is not in the WhiteHouse already ~ Imanutjob and BinLadin would be having sleepovers in the Lincoln bedroom.
On second thought, if a dem was in the WH, there would be no WH...only rubble and beginning construction of a mosque.

"Iranians want to fly in private plane and leave a large group in the plane at JFK airport who will not pass through US customs... Developing..."
I believe this request is totally reasonable since the Iranian president has never shown anything but support and admiration for the United States, her citizens and most importantly, her government officials. /sar/ He has repeatedly called for death to the U.S., our culture and our government. Clearly, a bi-polar psychotic like Ahmadinejad should be given any special treatment he requests.
Based on this idiot's behavior and lack of predictibility, I would not be surprised if his private plane was laden with a WMD that could be detonated on the ground of one of our most important airports. He would gladly sacrifice 25 of his agents to make a statement or merely enhance his stature in the Middle East. The other option is that the plane is filled with ultra-sophisticated electronic equipment designed to acquire information regarding airport security (radio frequencies, standard operating procedures for security personnel, photographic intelligence, etc.).
Call me crazy, but any "government leader" who professes to destroy the United States should be diplomatically invited NEVER to be allowed to set foot on our soil or enter our airspace.
The U.N. is worthless in its current configuration (and may indeed be unable to ever be a viable, worthwhile, ethical organization) but it's headquarters must be removed from United States soil immediately.

We purportedly have Iran's top military intel guy, so nutjob's defection is not all that wild of a proposition.
It will be very interesting to see what kind of reception he gets from whom during his visit. He's no Gorbachev.

Move the UN overseas and he wouldn't need a visa at that point. I'm under the opinion that the UN should occupy a small island out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and be open to anyone who needs to visit.
