how about the black caucus member from houston, sheila jackson lee who thought we had men on mars who planted a flag-and NASA is in her district-??oh,and she was a judge-here come da judge-what a joke-i feel bad for Black Americans who are intelligent, hardworking decent people and they are leeched upon by a bunch of minstrel show buffoons-when a dignified man like JC Watts serves in Congress he is spurned by da caucus-let's face it -life is very unfair for Black people who just want to do the right thing-this whole deal is hardly unique to Blacks-every "ethnic" group has been parasitized by their own posing as political defenders and saviors-the slick tongued lazy incompetents who live off the sweat of their brothers and sisters

I use to make the same embarrassing mistakes until I quit smoking marijuana. I would recommend that she try the same.

We had a school teacher, leading her students through a museum and into a room marked "World War II", say: "And now, in here we're going to learn about World War Eleven."

True story.

Maxine Waters, and many members of the Congress and most especially the Congressional Black Caucus are proof positive of the wisdom shown by the framers of the Constitution. in that they didn't give the vote to just anyone who could make a "x".

Give ignorant fools the vote - and they elect their own...

Until there is some "test" for citizenship, and the ability to demonstrate some elementary KNOWLEDGE of the issues being decided - the vote should be denied...

I bet there are more people getting killed in Maxine Water's district everyday than in Iraq! Should we demand the police 'pull out' to protect themselves from a 'civil war'? I think the police officer's families would like them home safe too. I guess this idiot doesn't understand that someone has to protect and defend this country and it's citizens. And since it is a voluntary military shouldn't the people who are fighting this war decide if they want Maxine Waters and her stupid cohorts to 'protect' them?!

Someone refresh my memory. Isn't she the congresscritter that said the seriousness of the charges was more important than the nature of the evidence? Don't recall what the scandal-du-jour was about.

Rep. Maxine Waters, now serving her 9th term in the House of Representatives, declared that under the Out of Iraq Caucus's plan, the United States could remove U.S. troops from Iraq "by August of 1980.

I am in favor of limiting voting to non-morons. If you vote (or have ever voted) for the esteemed Maxine Waters, you should instantly be given a choice between surrendering your voting right, or wearing a scarlet "M" on election day, so the folks in the town square can give you a proper dose of derision and heckling.

Quote of the day from Ms Pelosi ref Gen Pace and 'Dont ask, dont tell'....

I think the military should carefully consider changing the policy. We need the most talented people, we need the language skills, we need patriotic Americans who exist across the board in our population. We don’t need moral judgment from the chairman of the Joint Chiefs.
--- Nancy Pelosi

Congress made the law....President Clinton signed it....Congress has to make any changes....!
