Six Muslim imams ordered off a US Airways flight at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport last November want to hold the airline responsible for how it treated them, one of the imams on the flight said at a press conference today at the Council on American-Islamic Relations' office in Washington, D.C. The imams filed a discrimination lawsuit Monday against the airline and the Metropolitan Airports Commission, claiming they were removed from the plane because of their race and religion.

"extreme" harm? How could it be "extreme" if he's still in one piece? Have him blinded, branded, drawn and quartered.

If we as a nation can allocate victimhood and its substantial benefits to Boyz N Da Hood and NAMBLA, I see no reason why we shouldn't extend it to these unfortuanate promoters of terror as well.

"The imams filed a discrimination lawsuit Monday against the airline and the Metropolitan Airports Commission..."

Which is what they had intended to do when they were purchasing the tickets. Just another set-up by these people. If things are so bad here, you'd think they would want to move back to one of their muslim utopias in the Middle East.

"To date, we continue to be defamed and feel anxiety every time we fly," Didmar Faja said today. "We are respected community leaders and this incident has caused us extreme harm." Omar T. Mohammedi, whose New York City law firm is representing the imams, said this is not the first case against a U.S. airline for discrimination and it won't be the last.

These people are SCUM. They are trying to wreck the security system of the USA and make it easier for terrorists to commit mass murder. Post-9/11 we should have passed a law making it nearly impossible to file or win such lawsuits..... the last thing we need is for every airline and security staffer to be worrying about getting sued rather than about protecting all of us.

I expected this kind of "push back" from terrorist-lovers and ACLU-types, I'm actually surprised there hasn't been more such legal wrangling given the tort system we have and the John Edwards types ruining our nation. This case should be put down hard, but probably won't be...... these imams clearly behaved in a manner that raised serious questions about their motives and threat-potential. They were most likely setting us all up for just this kind of b.s. lawsuit.

CAIR is a saudi funded trojan horse to attack the US and weaken it to make the islamic takeover easier.

The imams should be glad they weren't treated the way Christians are treated in most islamic countries.

Forgive us if we seem insensitive, imams, but KMA.

He's exaggerating. I doubt he's ever been exposed to "extreme harm".

It's not in the best, self-serving interests of lawyers and judges to limit law suits. I think your above prediction is an accurate one.

No, actually, Mr. Imam, "extreme harm" is what was done to 3000 innocent Americans and tens of thousands of their family members and friends by your associates about 5 years ago. We're just trying to keep you all from doing it again, while you keep probing for a repeat performance.

Typical for cases like this to allege intentional infliction of emotional distress and all that happy horse manure. Also helps to taint the jury pool for if and when the case ultimately comes to trial.

"We are respected community leaders and this incident has caused us extreme harm."

I'm not aware of anyone who respects them...which would make them very poor leaders. Perhaps the harm derived from being exposed for what they are...scam artists.

Of course, if these bums get any money, all that severe emotional harm and anxiety will disappear.

That must have sucked for him to believe he was going to be so close to "achieving" his so called 72 virgins only to be kicked off the plane. Talk about the embarrassment he must face amongst his friends knowing that he has failed at his mission of jihad.

It ain't about the money.

It's about getting us to drop our defenses and fear lawsuits so that the terror can resume, here, in America.
