Former Governor McGreevey is seeking sole custody of his five-year old daughter and child support from his estranged wife.
In a revised divorce lawsuit filed in Elizabeth, the nation's first openly gay governor does not mention a "matrimonial settlement agreement" that McGreevey originally said had resolved all issues of custody and support.
McGreevey declined to discuss particulars with The Star-Ledger of Newark.
The newspaper says Dina Matos McGreevey hung up without answering questions when contacted by cell phone yesterday.
Matos McGreevey has not filed a formal response.
The two have lived apart since November 2004. That's when McGreevey resigned for having had an affair with a male staffer.

Ex Gov. Jim McGreevey should NOT get custody of his daughter. He is a member of Stonewall.

Brief history of the modern childlove movement
Excerpt:
NAMBLA emerged from the tumultuous political atmosphere of the 1970s, particularly from the leftist wing of the Gay Liberation movement which followed the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City. Although discussion of gay adult-minor sex did take place, gay rights groups immediately following the Stonewall Riot were more concerned with issues of police harassment, nondiscrimination in employment, health care and other areas.

I don't think that creep ought to get anything. Not a child, a dog. or even a hamster! I am still mad he didn't get put in jail for trying to give his loverboy an important job. I feel sorry for the wife to a point, but since everyone else knew he was gay ....I wonder if she did & just ignored it? Why any court would find him a fit parent I don't know. I guess being a crook & a liar is ok with judges. What sane judge would give this man (???) a child to raise I don't know...however anything is possible in NJ. He probably is hooked up with Garden State Equality too.

I'm listening to NJ101.5
http://www.nj1015.com/index.shtml
Jim Gearhart has some source of information saying that McGreevey is going to argue that he and his boyfriend will be offering a 2 parent household that is more stable for the child and is demanding child support from his ex wife.

>>>...the nation's first openly gay governor,<<<
What a bald-faced lie. Truckstop didn't ever admit it until he got caught. He used that gambit to stay out of jail.
This is just another one. He doesn't want to pay up, even though he is living with his multimillionaire homosex lover in a mansion in NJ and a penthouse in NYC.

I'm listening too! Just thinking of McGreevey being a member of Stonewall makes me ill.
Dina McGreevey has handled herself very well through out this whole mess. I hope she fights like heck to retain custody of her daughter. Why does he still continue to torment this woman?
How low will "McGreedy" go????????

NJ has no honorable judges. The NJ Supreme Court is owned by McGreevy. Everything is for sale here, particularly justice.
Let's not forget the most recent fiasco....the Seton Hall fire case.

Unfortunately, I fear he that the trial will be in the court of the "Oprah-nation". McGreevey would be a lock to get the kid and his wife will be fortunate if she doesn't do jailtime, if that's the case.
Seems like the law is upside down anymore.

Isn't that just sickening? Well I hope she has a good lawyer. Now I do feel sorry for her. First she gets conned by her gay husband, finds out he is a liar & a crook. Then has her whole life put into public spotlight and now may get her child ripped away from her is terrible. I thought I heard his 1st ex wife moved out of the country but I am not sure....If so I can see why she did. Maybe this is just bs to get his book to sell better. He is vile. She ought to write her own book on him. All of this disgusts me...Where are morals and decency anymore?

Sad but too true. Since I've lived here my whole life I shouldn't be shocked. You are so right everything is for sale here. I wish her luck. I hope she has some dirt on him.

Yes, "McGreedy's" first ex-wife lives in Canada.
Dina has a book coming out, I'm not sure when though.

I seem to recall that this liberal spouse stood up with her husband in a supportive manner when he "came out" after realizing he was exposed and likely in deep crud.
Kind of a nice pay-back by the guy, huh?

Why would she face jail? Has she been charged with anything? Shaking my head here again.
