As usual, Newt tells it like it is!!
Meanwhile the big three are still busy telling us that they aren't really what they've been their entire political life.

This is odd . Sounds like centrist bi-partisanship to me . It doesn't sound like he plans to enter the presidential mix with this kind of talk . Although it does sound like he is trying to affect the discourse and debate to a certain extent .

I see that the media torpedoed Newt last weekend with the "I was impeaching Clinton while having an affair" quote. As I told my wife, "Newt is one of the most qualified people to be president." and she said, "Yeah, but it'll never happen. The press will tear him down while pushing Obama down our throats."
So the most qualified candidates are smeared (ie McClintock and Gingrich) and the most unqualified candidates are glorified (Swartzenegger and Obama).
Maybe the time is right for GEN X and others to form our equivalent of the Bull Moose party.

BUMP! I'm a member. Even if you don't like Newt for president, you need to listen to what he has to say.

Overall I think he is right- especially about the "well oiled Leftwing machine". I did think that the line, "Their real allegiance isn't to any political party but to the belief that we can and should be doing much more to ensure a better future for our children and grandchildren." is hackneyed. Ah... its for the children...

He is far too honest and straight forward to be president.
