Six Islamic leaders who were removed from a US Airways flight say they'll sue the airline for discrimination. The Council on American-Islamic Relations says it will provide details on the lawsuit tomorrow at a Washington news conference.
Six imams returning to Phoenix from a religious conference in November were taken off a plane in Minneapolis, handcuffed, and questioned.
They had prayed in the airport before the flight, and after they boarded, a passenger who considered them suspicious passed a note to a flight attendant.

I'm sure you do. It was a rhetorical question I guess, voiced out of frustration. However, I do know absolutely 100% that the reporter said this happened.I did get the meeting facts confused, but I knew it was about the Imams' suit and she was standing in front of the airport here in Mpls during her report. But I know without a doubt that I heard her say that they kicked out reporters from "a" or "the" Christian broadcasting company. I'll check CBN's website too.
BTW, watched the other local news at noon, no mention of it. I'll watch channel 5 again at 5:00 and 6:00 to see if they bring it up again.
I saw nothing at CBN's web page.....
They didn't pray.. they made a spectacle intentionally to see what reaction security would have.... they were testing our defenses, and now are going to sue? CAIR is a terrorist organization.
You support water pollution? ;-P
Perhaps over the center of the Sahara, instead?
Perhaps before picking up and paying for a ticket airlines should have passengers sign a waiver of their rights once upon "company transportation property", that the employeers of the airline on that flight will determine if they are unsafe to fly (as they do for alcohol and impaired passengers)...... if the future religious rabble rousers refuse to sign.... refuse them a ticket.
I called and emailed my support. I suggest others do so as well.
Excellent idea.....
Thanks for the link.
Okay! Just heard it on KTLK FM 1500. Fox new bread, "you won't believe who they kicked out of their meeting" (Imams)
It was like a news tease, they didn't say who they kicked out. Will keep listening!
Oops LOL. Fox newS breaK. (must be hungry)
As an aside, I bet that plane really stunk.
I saw nothing at CBN's web page.....
Here's an old article. They've (CAIR) done this to CBN a couple of times already.
"They are in need of defenestration."
Ah, yahss. An impromptu departure by way of the "window of opportunity."
Yeah, I heard it. It's confirmed. They kicked out CBN and one of the Washigton newspapers......

Could someone on this site list the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the six imans so we could demonstrate our support?
This may be on one of the links. The names were published in the Waashington Times this morning but addresses and phone numbers weren't provided.
