No typo. Your first statement was correct.
Your taking one thing and mixing it with other with your question. . Surely you are not suggesting that?...
God does not want us to explore and learn would limit us to the technology of the time of the Bible.
Have no idea why you felt it necessary to jump to inventions as proof to your 'end of the world'? You were speaking about God's creation and how man 'thinks' it will end and how. And God says, otherwise.
As for inventions, they will be used to fulfill prophesy - i.e., satellite's, TV - where everyone will see the 'two witnesses' in Jerusalem and the return of the Lord where every knee will bow.
Fifty years ago, we could not understand how that prophesy would be fulfilled. Now we do. As scripture states - in the end times, knowledge shall be increased. End times does not mean the end of the world but the end of the 'age of grace'. Our spirit never dies - it lives somewhere for eternity.

I didn't want you to think I was ignoring your post - but I really don't get your point in this last post.
I thought I responded to your points -you seemed to be saying that you don't think we called to explore and learn about the world - and that was why you objected to astronomy and the reference to the suns future as a red giant. If I misunderstood, I apologize.
