I didn't want you to think I was ignoring your post - but I really don't get your point in this last post.
I thought I responded to your points -you seemed to be saying that you don't think we called to explore and learn about the world - and that was why you objected to astronomy and the reference to the suns future as a red giant. If I misunderstood, I apologize.

As Christians, you think 'we were called to explore and learn about the world"? That is not why we were called and enough scriptures to back that up.
My comment was in reference to you stating that the world will end and how. I said, according to scripture the world is not going to end. Just wondering, as a Christian, why you believe what man says when it's in direct opposition with God's Word.
