Please pray for Casey's family. He was a great kid--a talented chef with goals of his own. The probability walking home from a diner on a sidewalk in a blocked-off construction zone then getting hit by a car seems impossible. But impossible things happen. He was doing nothing wrong, taking no risk, and a drunk driver came out of nowhere. Witnesses said that the driver got out of the truck when it hit the building and told bystanders not to call 911 because he was ok.

Please pray that the seemingly impossible healing happens for his father, stepmother, and mother. Thank you for your prayers and kind thoughts.

This is heartbreaking. Personally I think people who kill someone while driving drunk should be in jail for life.

Carr probably has a history of drunk driving. Please keep us updated if the record proves he's been let off with a slap on the wrist in the past.

His career's been derailed. Yeah, poor guy. He's got nothing to look forward to but a lifetime as a Democrat Senator.

It's not the liberal "victims" fault that he was caught drinking. This is a set up.
To: martin_fierro
The thing that I can't get over is that he didn't want 911 called because he HIMSELF had not been injured, unlike his own passenger, not to mention the pedestrian victim. He refused to take a breath analysis--what more of a confession do they need than that.
I am curious if he's still working or on "leave".

A local website says that this is one of the most watched stories. He may not get off the hook.

I hate to say it, but I have to wonder if he'll play the race card in one fashion or another.

Wow.
I heard about that, but.... wow.
I liked the part where he said the family of his victim was going through "a stage" where they were angry at him, and he asked for prayers for them so they could get over it.
Just..... damn.
