Women no sure bet for Clinton Despite her appeals for sisterhood, female loyalties split Carla Marinucci, Chronicle Political Writer

In a historic campaign for the presidency, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is trying to ensure that as the Democratic woman in the contest she's the first choice of the Democratic women voting in the contest.
The issue was starkly evident last week, as the former first lady formally kicked off her campaign for women's votes -- while two titans of the women's movement dramatized their differing loyalties in the already bruising bout for the Democratic presidential nomination.
In one corner, Clinton stood with Ellen Malcolm -- the founder of Emily's List, the nation's largest political action committee and a powerful voice for Democratic pro-choice women's issues -- who said the New York senator's bid for the White House represents a watershed moment for women.

She does have a lock on all bitter and stupid women, however.
Oprah is all about Obammy.
I think Oprah has big influence with the women's vote.
Real women hate Shrillery.
The more intelligent and up on the facts that any woman is, the more likely she will reject Hillary for very sound reasons. But no writer for SFGate could even admit of such a possibility, much less discuss it in print.
Congressman Billybob
"For many female voters, "if it's all about electing Democratic, pro-choice women ... then Hillary is their candidate," she said. "I don't think the fact that the leader of the women's movement (is backing Edwards) means anything negative when it comes to Hillary."
Keep whistling past that graveyard...
"..the recent polls support that "Hillary is doing well with women voters ... with a solid record on leading issues that are important to women: health care, education, access to emergency contraception and a woman's right to choose."
Oh yes, the feminist ghetto. Government by their womb.
" "As good as she may be on all kinds of issues ... she needs to be able to say it was a mistake," Trounstine said. "It's not so much people want to hear someone grovel. They want to know you've learned a lesson and you would do something different going forward. Edwards has made it clear: 'I've learned.' ""
Just what we need. A President Twit who governs according to polls. Of course, we had that during the Clintonista regime.
The Politics of Personal Apology may work really well on the Oprah Show, but China, Russia and Iran don't watch it and don't bother to apologize to anything.
There are other women who have been in Congress and in the Military a lot longer with more experience that Hillary. Just because she married Bill is no reason to elect her.
She's an empty (black pants) suit.
Mrs. Bill Clinton has the Bull-
Dyke Lesbo constituency wrapped up, but will it be enough?
A watershed moment implies a rupture in time, after which things no longer exist as we know them. Our norms, rules, and institutions become obsolete because they cannot fully account for transformed conditions of life. Such a moment urges us to re-define foundations of our social existence, of our relationship to others as well as to ourselves. Nevertheless, re-definition attempts are always imbued with power inequalities and the perceived exigency of transformation may legitimize violations of previously achieved guarantees against abuses of power. It is therefore extremely crucial to critically reflect upon (what is claimed to be) a transformative moment and which parts of our social, political, and legal ideals it demands to re-define.
If Hitlery is elected it will not only be a watershed moment for women, it will be a watershed moment for our nation.
As willing as Hitlery has been shown to use abuse of power as a tool, I would expect nothing less than the same with her in the White House as top dog.
STALINIST RISING?
HILLARY CLINTON ABUSE OF POWER
(WHERE IS THE UNREDACTED BARRETT REPORT ANYWAY?)
Comment left on YouTube.
and the RINO women. I see a distict set of so called republican women who "vote for the woman" because they are really pro-abortion liberals who like to hang out with people with money.
Those who underestimate the young women's vote for Hillary are being very naive indeed. They will come out in record numbers to vote for a woman.
Bias?
Women seem to either adore Hillary...or hate her with every fiber of their being.
I wonder why?
why women listen to Oprah?
I'm not sure - but my (Caucasian middle class) wife and adult daughters listen to her show often
or
why Oprah loves Obammy?
He's "black" and Illinois based
