I think an appeal does not necessarily preclude a judge from ruling that you must serve your sentence while under appeal.

It does not. It's at the judge's discretion.

I am thinking that if the judge does insist on jailing Libby while he awaits an appeal....THEN perhaps Pres. Bush thinks about a pardon sooner than later.

Oh DEAR!!! Steve Harrigan in trouble in Colombia...he got caught up with some protesters...and the police fired tear gas...

Steve always gets in tight spots.

Thanks and we all seem to know which direction this judge's discretion would be leaning.

This is my shot across the bow, like old Dingy Harry Reid;

Scooter better NOT serve even one hour behind bars or I am history to the Republicans, or at least my money is, however minor it may be.
