The argument is nothing is off the table for what to do with Iran. It's just the methods need to reflect reality and what we can do today. Supporting dissidents, stopping the funding and galvanizing other countries could work. Might not but the point is the automatic response of bomb them should not be an initial response.

With Iran having to ration gasoline I believe the economic pressure to join the rest of the world will be enough to topple Imadamnutjob. Because gasoline cost only 9c a gallon there was massive overuse and they are forced to import refined gasoline as they haven't the capacity to refind their own.
In this case, I believe economic sanctions will work.
