I think the only reason that Koppel is getting a free pass to finish his sentences from Mr. Potatohead is that he's stunned at what Ted is saying.

It's like a football team seeing a running back for the first time and that guy runs all over them cause the "D" didn't know what to expect.

It is truly a super long yet great read. What I don't understand however,and maybe you can help me with it, is how do you resolve the last paragraph in the link that states the following:

I don't really understand the mechanism for stopping them getting nukes.
