Despite the 4 letter words...this is a great video.
If you note my tagline, well.. This DHMO gag has been running as long as I remember, and I am on the trembling verge of old fartdom, but I still get the odd free beer using it as a trivia question. Heck, the old Freedonia question goes back to Groucho Marx, and a couple of elections ago it still tripped up all but one of the Congressional freshmen one wit posed it to.
>>These are the folks who claim they don't need oil, they ride the bus!<<
I have a hard time enjoying this sort of thing because what it really says is how ignorant of science so much of the American population is.
You scored 340 out of 350 possible points, or 97.14%

You should definitely vote.
I was one short of a perfect score. I thought John Boehner was a senator instead than a congressman.

I got an A. No career recommendation.
I noticed there was not a "Supreme Senate Obstructionist" title for Harry Reid.
Penn and Teller are actually affiliated with the Cato Institute. No bullsh*t.
My son and his friends are going to try this on the hippie kids at his university this coming Earth Day.
From the Wikipedia site:
"In March 2004, Aliso Viejo, California almost considered banning the use of foam containers at city-sponsored events because dihydrogen monoxide is part of their production. The issue was put on the agenda of the City Council after a paralegal found mention of DHMO online and did not realize it was a joke. The item was pulled from the agenda before it could come to a vote, but not before the city received a raft of bad publicity"
About the same time, Fluor Corporation (onw of the world's leading engineering and construction companies), made the decision to move its corporate headquarters from Aliso Viejo CA to Dallas TX. Whether or not there is a question, I don't know, but I can just hear Alan Boeckmann (CEO of Fluor) responded to this with "WTF?! It's long past time to get out of California!
They should start a petition against nitrogen pollution. The damned atmosphere is lousy with the stuff!
Whew, 100%--I can vote! But I'm not running for office! : D
Yeah, that would have seemed a bit more appropriate!
Oxygen is far nastier, even in lower concentrations.
Well, that was interesting! Thanks!
Hilarious. "Would you be prepared to separate your recycling more for the sake of the environment?"
By the time they got to 10 bins with colour coded lids, I was thinking "people are going to twig this is a put-on, or simply refuse." But no
