Louisianans, just say neaux.
Breaux would be a strong candidate should he choose to leave Patton Boggs in DC and move back to Louisiana. Blanco may get an offer she can't refuse when he meets with her to talk about the governorship.
Bad news, if true.
Breaux was responsible for getting Landrieux elected to the Senate last time around. He assured the voters that she worked well with Bush and would vote pro-life.
Apparently Louisianans believe anything he says.
Breaux is "neaux geaux" so far as I'm concerned.
I'm ready for some Bayou Masala myself.
Run, Bobby, run!
No way that Breaux gives up a cushy,, big $$$$ paycheck, and the sweet life in DC to go back and work his ass off in LA.. The state's a mess..post Katrina...Bobby Jindal will be the next Governor of LA
I hope Bobby wins, I heard a caller on the Moon Griffon show say "I think Breaux walks on water"
Lamedreux didn't fret a blonde curl about it till a TRUE representative of the citizens was ELECTED!
Hopefully as literacy increases so will the realization that this state is one big failed govt plantation! But the massass are hoping to squeeze in a few more buisinesses/hotels/golf courses/lakes and reservoirs before their package fees are revoked!!!!
Actually, he had a little over 14 years in the House and 18 in the Senate.
Bite your tongue. If the French got it back it would become Jihad on the Bayou faster than you can say "Goodbye Joe".
I read on politics1.com that Blanco will run for re-election regardless of what Breaux does.
Which might close the door on a Breaux run, since he's reported as not wanting to run if Blanco does.
Blanco is just posturing, IMHO...her poll numbers are awful...and I repeat, no way Breaux wants to climb into that swamp..it's a no-win situation for him..
If Breaux runs, he wins. The Dems will be putting plenty of pressure on him to enter the race.
