I Have Freakin' Had It

It is, officially, a crime to support the President and his policies. That is, after all, why Scooter Libby is facing prison time. In a nutshell, special prosecutor Fitzgerald knew that no crime had been committed from the onset of his investigation. He was made aware that Richard Armitage was the person who revealed the identity of Valerie Plame in the very beginning of his investigation. Rather than do the honorable thing and just shut down his search and save the taxpayers millions of dollars, Fitzgerald chose to use his unchecked power and find a Bush administration official to persecute. Libby gave that opportunity to the immoral special prosecutor by giving conflicting testimony before a grand jury. Fitzgerald pounced. Here was his victim - the vice President's chief of staff.

Try as he might, this was the closest he could get to the President. Lord knows he tried. He wanted the big fish, Karl Rove. But even the unscrupulous Fitzgerald couldn't hang anything on Rove. So he went for the best he could get. Libby fit the bill nicely. Of course the media, hoping like hell to get a Bush corpse to put in the impeachment folder, gave the liar Fitzgerald the royal treatment. Hell, you would think that Fitzgerald is a saint. He was doing the Lord's work and had one of Satan's minions in his clutches.

Fitzgerald, no dummy, picked the DC circuit for his trial. Since this was a political trial disguised as a criminal prosecution he needed a good jury pool. Trying to find a Republican in the DC population is like finding a virgin intern in Bill Clinton's White House. It just ain't possible. So Fitz got himself a jury that hates the Bush administration and proceeds to parade his witnesses before them.

What of these witnesses? I have never seen such a bunch of lying scum in one place at one time. Fitz's witnesses from the media couldn't remember shite or contradicted their own testimony. Hell, even Potato Head Tim Russert made an ass of himself with his recollections and non recollections. But never let facts get in the way of a biased jury. What was the point of this trail anyway? The verdict was pre-ordained. That was confirmed by the one juror who lamented the fact that they couldn't get Rove so he would just have to be content with Libby's hide.

So here we are. A man faces time behind bars because a rogue prosecutor bent on procuring a trophy for his mantle, with the willing assistance of a corrupt media, democrat henchmen and a hand picked jury from leftist central. A man facing time because he represented a policy and an administration that the leftists hate with an irrational, sick hatred. There is no underlying crime here.

Now, in the aftermath, we have the sickening likes of Pelosi, Reid and other leftist trash beating the pulpit and smearing the Bush administration with all manner of vile slander and hyperbole. The hypocritical, lying sacks of humus feel emboldened. They have Libby's head on a stick and are parading it around in the same manner as the islamic jihadists displaying a head they have just severed from the body. The sick bastards know that they have just been handed a wonderful propaganda coup by the vile Fitzgerald and the media and are playing it for all it is worth.

Where is the backlash? Where are the Republicans? How the hell did we get to this point? We have had six years of a Republican in the White House. We had a Republican majority in the House since 1994 and controlled the Senate the majority of the time. And today the Republicans are slinking in the shadows. A nut-less bunch of faggots too timid to stand for what is right. Who needs these spineless saps?

It is time for the conservative majority in the Republican party to take control of this rudderless ship. We have been sold a bill of goods by the likes of McCain and his country club, blue blood cowards. They have sold us out and would rather go along with the demoscum hoard as to stand up and say, "Enough." Enough with the leftist cabal's stranglehold on the political agenda. The Pelosi/Reid gang do not represent the majority of the voting American public. The leftist puppet masters who pull the Pelosi/Reid gang's strings are a tiny minority of anti-American; leftist, jihadist appeasing lump of cow dung. They must be confronted and defeated. We cannot count on the current crop of limp wristed Republican politicians to carry the fight. They have demonstrated that time and time again.

We must not fund the current Republican machine anymore. Money is the mother's milk of politics as they say. If we want real leadership to emerge in the once proud Republican party we will have to starve the current leadership. We must let them know that they cannot come to us the next election cycle and give us conservative platitudes and expect us to march like good little robots and pull the "R" lever. To hell with that. They do not deserve our support.

We must contact the various Republican committees and let them know that they can no longer take us for granted. We WILL NOT give them another damn dime until they stand up and shout down the leftist trash that are destroying this country. They must stop this onslaught in its tracks. Failure to do so will result in them packing their bags and heading back to whatever place they came from.We must contact each one of our representatives and senators and let them know that we will no longer be a doormat. They cannot walk on us any longer. We are calling the shots now and if they don't stand up and represent us, then to hell with them.

The Scooter Libby verdict is the last in a long line of the leftist cabal's chicanery. It must be the last act of these animals. Our Republican politicians must stand and draw a line in the sand. The scum can no longer be allowed to set one foot over that line. We are more powerful than them. We have more numbers than them. We must unite in our resolve to wrest control of the Republican party from the cowards. DO NOT give support to any member of the party until the party declares war on the anti-American trash. They must fear us and our wrath more than they fear unfavorable press or their foursome on the golf course.

We can only accomplish this if we as conservatives are united. We must, as the largest block in the Republican party, make them pay attention and do as we wish. We hold the power in this party. They must respect our demands.

I am not naive enough to think that this little podunk forum can start a national movement. But each one of us know many people. We must spur every conservative we know into action. Each of us and each of our acquaintances must contact our Republican politicians and their committees and demand that they act with some testicular fortitude. If we don't, we lose this great nation.

So get off your asses and get busy. Resolve to take back the Republican party from the girly men who use it for their own purposes. This country cannot afford to let the leftist swine run roughshod over it. Our freedom and our security depend on our actions. If anyone has any ideas about how to trigger a mass movement of conservatives, post them here. Put links to this blog entry at all of your internet haunts so that we can be a clearinghouse of ideas and action. Our country needs us. Get mad as hell about the leftist onslaught and take action. We must not abandon our responsibility as citizens of the greatest nation the planet has ever seen.

No I didn't call Rush. I had to work and I can't call from work. What did Rush say about it? He oughta read that book over the weekend. The author has interviewed everyone who would talk to him and has documentation. Patrick Fitzgerald refused to talk to him.

When the Republican Party calls my husband requesting donations, he has been telling them pretty much the same thing, that they need to stand up to the screeching Democrats. I don't know if the spectre of Her Lordship Hillary Clinton grabbing power will change his mind about that in the upcoming election cycle, but the Gentlemen's Republican Club of RINO's are getting tiresome. - The double standard of justice for the morally challenged or morally handicapped Democrats contrasted with the Republican gentlemen is wearing very thin. There should be a PETITION to President Bush from conservatives requesting that a PARDON be immediately given to Scooter Libby toot sweet. Speaking of LYNCHINGS, this was one if ever there was one. One of the jurors even remarked after the verdict that the ones they really needed to "get" were Cheney and Rove. A rotten to the core verdict from a liberal Democrat jury (oh, don't tell me they'll trot out one of the jury who is a RINO war protestor to soothe our fears that they were really a legal lynch mob). - These things are going to backfire on the libs big time, and the sooner the better.

Ann Colter has more balls than the entire Republican Party.

For proof, read the posts on the Colter threads.

I intentionally omitted Conservatives because there is a difference between Conservative and Republican.

I am reading Levin's book "Men In Black." Highly recommend this book. Every major problem today facing our nation can be tied to a liberal activist judge,, abortion, illegal immigration, crime, voter fraud, you name it.

If a Democrat gets elected in 2008 I think we can rest assured that fitzergerald will get a big time job with the Government.

The President had to know this information from Armitage the same as Fitzgerald did. He should have shut fitzgerald down. Al he had to do was have a Press release and tell the world that Armitage did it and the thing would have been over.

You may want to rethink calling Sen. McCain a coward.

I think we have to work hard at the grass roots to do it, because the RNC has shown in the past few election cycles, they will not throw support behind conservative candidates.

This is about the jury selection process, Chief. I've heard the last juror, the one who was a neighbor of Russert and who had worked with Woodward at the Washington Post, both witnesses in the trial, was seated because the defense was out of peremptory challenges. I've served on juries many times and know that the trial judge can excuse a juror without a challenge from the prosecution or the defense over information discovered in the voir dire. The judge shouldn't have seated this juror in the beginning. Wondering if this will fly at an appeal.

Do you have a solution?

That was detailed in the article:

We must not fund the current Republican machine anymore. Money is the mother's milk of politics as they say. If we want real leadership to emerge in the once proud Republican party we will have to starve the current leadership. We must let them know that they cannot come to us the next election cycle and give us conservative platitudes and expect us to march like good little robots and pull the "R" lever. To hell with that. They do not deserve our support.

DO NOT give support to any member of the party until the party declares war on the anti-American trash. They must fear us and our wrath more than they fear unfavorable press or their foursome on the golf course.

I used to be of the mind that withholding support from limpwristed Republican candidates was an example of "cutting off one's nose to spite one's face." I now realize that mindlessly cheerleading or pulling the lever for any generic "R" is what has led us to the current state of affairs. The only way we will ever enact change is to force the hand of our "leadership."

Levin is deflecting responsibility when he blames the majority of the country's problems on judges. They are in fact due mostly to lawyers. Lawyers file briefs, bring lawsuits, and represent any filth able to pay the retainer. Judges just hear the cases and are the visible, easily identified parts of the entire out of control legal system. But since he's a lawyer he won't tell you that. Reminds me of the joke about the lawyer who left town only to discover on his return that his girlfriend had given birth. When asked why she didn't call so they could get married, she replied that she consulted her parents and decided it would be preferable to have a bastard in the family rather than a lawyer.

99% of what I read here tonight is so true, I've talked to four friends today two are ex career Marines, one is a housewife I've known for 55 years and another is an ex Sheriff commander from Southern California and they feel the same as the people in this blog. Everyone of them feels this country is going to or has gone to hell. Further to find out today that the FBI can break the law with impunity is outrageous. It seems the system is out of control.

No... I would say something about Mr. Conservative, but you apparently have to check in to rehab for saying the word... Nevermind. I've simply followed his rants since the 2000 election.

Before the election, I remember a weekend Fox News commentator saying: "If the Democrats win a majority, expect a return of a 'culture of investigations.'"

I located an article along those lines.

I pray Republicans and Conservative Independents have fully realized we must band together in 2008.

Right Wing Nut House » WHAT IF THE DEMOCRATS WIN?

Would anything good come of a Democratic takeover of the House? Perhaps by 2008, it would make people long for Republicans being back in control – at least, that appears to be one aspect of the so-called Tapscottian strategy (named after Heritage fellow and blogger Mark Tapscott) that gives Republicans a reason to stay home this November. Mark is a very smart fellow, but this is stupid. Without the “culture of corruption” to run against, the rules of incumbency would reassert themselves and even Democrats in marginally Republican districts would be enormously difficult to unseat.

Actually, Republicans would be wiser to run against the “culture of investigations” that the American people are much more likely to tire of – especially when it turns out that most of these investigations will be fishing expeditions that uncover little in the way of real corruption and instead show Democrats to be petty and spiteful politicians. To my mind, that would resonate far more with voters than any grand strategy that envisions Republicans riding to the rescue as Democrats trash the country.

The fact that the reporter juror, a friend of witnesses, has clearly indicated he intends to write a book about the trial, could have some serious impact on the appeal. Was the juror, who has a stated monetary interest in the case, fair and impartial?

He wouldn't sell many books if Libby had gotten off.

Good point!

We didn't have to do that in our state party, but by remaining involved and engaged, we replaced the prior liberal "leadership" (in a way sadly -- I really liked and respected some of these folks, though others of their cadre were simply no good at all) with a good solid conservative. Now we need to rally behind him, and turn Washington into a red-blooded American state (for the first time?).
