Chet is right. The liberals in government, civic groups and in the media detested Mr. Giuliani.
You know, people aught to listen to conservative New Yorkers who have seen Rudy Giuliani going up against special interest groups, the liberal media, the liberal unions, the liberal city council -- and winning most confrontations with them.
