What? A liberal double-standard? Noooo. Can't be.
I don't see what the big deal is. It's just a word. And it has other meanings, besides. And in other countries it means something totally different. If this is what we've come to call enlightened disputations, heaven help us...........
And your User ID happens to be "theothercheek"
LOL!
And it's only an insult if it's aimed at a Democrat.
The Sarah Silverman character also used the term "fag" during the same episode where she has sex with "god". Of course she immediately told her two gay friends who were sitting at the table with her that she didn't mean "that" kind of fag...
And of course homosexual comics can use any of a variety of nicknames for their kind with total impunity.
As in "kiss my other cheek"
Sorry Ann, the First Amendment only applies to those kind, sensitive, TOLERANT, Leftists.
If you want that kind of Republican party, you can have it pal. I guess you sling your own poop back at the monkeys at the zoo, too.
If you want to wallow in the mud with the liberals, you go right ahead, you true conservative.
If you want to incorporate liberals childish style of discourse, you go right ahead, you true conservative.
If you want a Jerry Springer style of politics, you can have it you true conservative.
If you like to point out the shortcomings of liberals then adopt these tactics as your own, you go ahead, you true conservative.
If common decency and respect for yourself and the party is viewed as bad by the party, you can have it pal.
"I say screw a bunch of effiminate, milque toast snobs!"
If refraining from making an ass out of myself just to get in a non-sequitor slur at a Democrat makes me a milquetoast snob, that is a badge I will wear with honor.
Now, where is the Republican and conservative leadership on this. I'm sure they are 100% behind Ann on this. Oh, wait....they aren't. Guess that makes you the fringe.
"Sorry Ann, the First Amendment only applies to those kind,"
God help you, you don't have a clue.
Christine Stansell, in The New Republic, wrote this about Tripp's book...
"[G]ay? Abraham Lincoln? How would you ever know? And why would you ever care? Surely there is no president whose sexuality we less want to think about....Yet the virtue of this little book is to get you wondering....In his very naïveté...Tripp compiles a dossier of ambiguities not truths, but ambiguities worth considering."
If a New Republic writer tells us it's a virtue for CA Tripp to make folks wonder about Lincoln's sexuality, I'd guess we can assume it's a virtue for Coulter to makes folks wonder about Edward's sexuality.
"Sorry Ann, the First Amendment only applies to those kind,"
"God help you, you don't have a clue."
I believe that was sarcasm, you took for 'Quicks' belief system.
Under the First Amendment, Ann Coulter should be free to say and write whatever she wants. However, when appearing at official conservative or Republican functions she should know that she is not representing herself but is acting as a spokesperson for that organization. She tends to get her roles mixed up - or is unable to self-censor when the occasion calls for it.
And it's all Ann Coulter's fault.
She called Joseph McCarthy an American "HERO"..
Called the liberal traitors a "CHURCH"...
The 9/11 witchs.... "GOLDDIGGERS"...
She uses words like "silver bullets"..to Vampires..
The girl is a genius.. The leanest meanest RINO exposer of all time..
She exposes so-called conservatives/republicans as the cowardly lions.. or strawmen.., or automatons.. they really are. AND THEY DESPISE HER FOR IT..
Actually, I thought the term 'faggot' was too mild. "Fudgepacker" is better.
You keep bringing marshmallows to a knife-fight, Skippy.
Let us know how that works out.
