So how much does a permit to shoot thugs cost?

I'd love to see the rap sheets of the would-be robbers.

About 18 cents or so, depending on the caliber used.

I wouldn't call this a "Robbery Gone Bad", I'd call it a "Crime Story With a Happy Ending." Pay the owner bounty and buy him more bullets.

"Store Owner with Permit kills one and injures another in hold up attempt" was not the title of the linked published article.

Please do not change the title of any published material. We're trying to reduce the number of duplicate threads.

Thanks.

What's a "Robbery Gone Well," if I may ask? One where they kill the owner?

The owner of a small breakfast restaurant who has been robbed in the past allegedly killed one alleged robber and allegedly injured another during a robbery gone bad in Philadelphia Thursday morning, police said.

Robbery gone bad? One of the thieves died? How is that "gone bad"? Other than the trauma for the poor guy who shot the criminal, sounds like it went rather well. If more crimes ended like this, we'd have a LOT fewer criminals running around.

The unidentified owner -- who had a permit for his gun -- killed one man and shot another in the face.

A permit is not needed for a gun in PA. Perhaps "they" mean CCW?

Now that the Moderator changed the headline, my comment isn't nearly as funny. (Or maybe it is...)

Robber must have watched one too many movies...

"This place? A coffee shop?"
"Why not? Nobody ever robs restaurants. Bars, liquor stores, gas stations... you get your head blown off sticking up one of them. Restaurants on the other hand, you catch with their pants down. They're not expecting to get robbed. Not as expectant anyway."

(Pulp Fiction)
