I agree--but neither the border patrol Nor Sandy's theft has anything to do with Libby....I think Sean's comparing apples to oranges.

"I always stump the gay rights folks with one question...what right as granted under the Constitution are you currently being denied?"

"pursuit of happiness" is the one I've seen in response to that line of questioning

"WE are their enemy, not Al Qaeda. And I can prove it. Howard Dean doesn't think that OBL should be offed, and says that Karl Rove is "guiltier than Bin Laden". That doesn't stop Democrat shills like Joyce Behar and that schmuck Bill Maher from wishing that Dick Cheney be physically harmed. Imagine the performance if someone had made a movie about the assassination of BJ Clinton..."

If we ever meet IRL...I'm sooooooooooo buying you a drink in honor of that one post.

Steak Crepe does trip the MAN LAW meter a bit.

Perhaps a meeting of Men of the Glass Cube will need to convene.

It doesn't have to do with Libby per se...but all three have one common thread...the Bush Justice Department.

I replied to one gay rights person and said "ok what if my desired 'pursuit of happiness' was molesting children and sex with children then we should toss out the child molestation laws?" his response was "No child molestation is illegal and it's deviant"

.........

LOL! I love that one.

No one is stopping them from persuing happiness. They never EVER seem to grasp that...the Constitution gives them the "opportunity"...it doesn't say anywhere that it's guarenteed or will be handed to them on a silver platter.

But you already know this...

Anyone else see this one?

WASHINGTON -- Hillary Rodham Clinton placed her left hand on a Bible and her right had in the air while a smirking Chief Justice John Roberts issued the oath of office.

The video pre-enactment of Clinton's 2008 inauguration -- with actors in the leading roles -- nearly stole the show Tuesday at the annual meeting of EMILY's List, where the real Sen. Clinton unveiled a break-the-glass-ceiling campaign theme before 1,300 members of the powerful political action committee that backs abortion rights. On Wednesday, Clinton targets another key group -- New Yorkers -- as she holds a closed-door meeting with the state's congressional delegation to woo uncommitted members to her cause.

So it's the Bush justice department that made Libby "have a bad memory"---?

No...but they didn't have to appoint a special investigator...they didn't have to follow through with this sham of a trial.

Look before you think I'm one of the 100%'ers and the Blame Bush first crowd...anyone here can tell you I'm one of his biggest defenders...

That being said...it's his Justice Department that carried out this sham and his Justice Dept that could have prevented it.

Fitz knew before he went after Libby that Armitage was the leak...he just kept fishing for something...ANYTHING until he got Libby to slip up.

No one's memory is going to be exact when you're under oath in a deposition by an aggressive lawyer and you're trying to recall precise conversations and specific words spoken from a conversation two years prior.
