As an small “o” objectivist (atheist), I say there’s no doubt about it. It takes a lot of study, reflection and experience to maintain confidence in one’s values and direction without a faith in God or in some social alternative. A good religion’s clearly a better choice than those social alternatives for most people in most circumstances.
