what a bundle of sticks.....
But they have a huge amount of clout.
"Ms. Coulter's column drew an unusual amount of criticism from our readers when we first started running it..."
________
I'm sure complaints about liberal (moderate) columnists and left-wing bias fall on deaf ears.
Nowhere in this column is the term "f-word" used, but "faggot" is openly thrown around.
Didn't you know?
Homosexuals make up 50% of the population and the number is growing, thanks to the public schools.
Same thing that happened to Bill Bennett.
Ann will be fine.
Vastly more than social conservatives have, that's for sure.
But it's totally ok for Molly Ivins or Maureen Dowd to compare Bush to Hitler. How did we get to the point where calling someone a faggot is worse than calling them Hitler? The "logic" of that reality alone defys comprehension.
"She certainly no longer represents conservatism and apparently is more interested in being a celebrity."So, Allan Adler gets to decide who represents conservatism?
"Our readers will be happy to know, however, that we will continue to run columnists who accuse Pres. Bush of being a liar on every issue under the sun, accuse boots-on-the-ground soldiers worldwide of being incompetent and sadistic, support state-sponsored racism against caucasians, and gush over the brilliance of Al Gore."
Not if you listen to social conservatives. ;-)
"Homosexuals make up 2% of the population.
But they have a huge amount of clout."
Shurnuff. The Gay Mafia.
Lovely, the more PC propaganda rags down the tube the better.
Newspapers are dying and are indeed already dead among the conservatives I know.
AC should not give a care about being "dropped" (gasp!) by biased, antiquated media, because of outrage from the QueerLobby.
Although I disliked Ann's improper crack at Edwards, isn't the double standard interesting? In order for Ted Rall to have his "column" and "cartoons" dropped from papers, he had to engage in repeated, outrageous, PLANNED racism and hatemongering against, well, just about anyone with whose policies he disagrees. And Ann? She gets the same dump-the-column treatment over one off-the-cuff (if juvenile and nasty) crack.
Two wrongs don't make a right, no, but I'm marveling at how much LESS of a wrong is required for a CONSERVATIVE to be dumped than for a leftist.
I vote for Cinnamon Stillwell.
These people are actually making her point for her. They want her to go to rehab.
