We got him!

If his family left before him, then there's no doubt he defected.

Surely that's what we want Iran to think...even if it never happened. ;-)

If he was the general that was in charge of wreaking havoc on us in Iraq, the only reason I see in him defecting to the West would be because he has reason to believe that Iran has short term plans to launch a WMD attack and he knows that the retaliatory strike will obliterate Iran.

" a timely intelligence bonanza" is a good way to put it, as the article says.....he could have a LOT to tell us, but before we start celebrating, let's remember how the same kind of intelligence coming from Saddam's bomb maker went over like a lead balloon, if it wasn't completely downplayed or ignored. It is ALL a matter of how much attention (positive attention, I should add) the MSM will afford it.

And hopefully he won't feed us the bullshit and outright lies the Iraqi defectors did. The Iraqi defectors told us what we wanted to hear. - Tom

I think its fair to assume from this point forward anything that the Administration presents to the public will be seen as nothing more than lies to wage war against Iran.

The MSM and Democrats will make sure of it and a majority of the American people will accept it.

Pathetic and dangerous...

Nice.

Here's how a Farsi website is telling the story

Iran: West May Have Kidnapped Missing Official

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Western intelligence services may have kidnapped a former Iranian deputy defense minister who went missing in Turkey, Iran's police chief was quoted as saying on Tuesday.

Well, the jury is still out on what happened to some of the WMDs. Jveritas has tranlated many documents showing our fears to be more than well founded.
