"Before this is over, you might see calls for his impeachment." - Chuck Hagel

But there are no places in Hagel for metaphor. His face is too meaty for poetics, its tectonics shaped by old football injuries and one horrible day in the Mekong Delta when the flesh of it bubbled and burned. His sentences are too often arrhythmic, breaking in the middle, when what he's saying takes an unexpected turn that seems to startle him most of all.
"The president says, 'I don't care.' He's not accountable anymore," Hagel says, measuring his words by the syllable and his syllables almost by the letter. "He's not accountable anymore, which isn't totally true. You can impeach him, and before this is over, you might see calls for his impeachment. I don't know. It depends how this goes."

...You are not a conservative if you would even consider impeachment of this president....control of border is a National Security issue; somewhere, in the oath of office re. upholding Constitution and providing for National Security there's a disconnect....

Hagel is all about getting elected president and nothing more. He won't be representing Nebraska much longer.

Hagel has been gone from the movement for a very long time. Tying in the commitment which all conservatives and Patriots have toward National defense(both external and internal)with support of the Mayor for President is a little much don't you think?

Turning on Hagel would be too obvious for the anti-Rudy crowd. They don't care about national security, domestic or foreign, they only care about abortion and personal relationships.

Dems have been calling for President Bush's impeachment since he was elected.
should read:
since he was elected and before he took the oath of office!
To: <1/1,000,000th%
A lot of conservatives want him impeached for failing to close the borders after 9/11, and failing to double or triple the size of the military after 9/11 also.

Let's just impeach every President. That way it will satisfy the egos of Congress. /sarcasm

I've worked against Hagel for a while (and I'm in the anti-Rudy crowd).
He isn't nuts. He is a political prostitute.
Also, he likes the promises from the Muslims who back him that his family will not come to harm when they begin their jihad in America in earnest.
So I heard while in Lincoln some months ago ...

Would that the anti-Rudy crowd would turn their venom on him. Must every thread be a Rudy thread? Give it a rest.

Yeah, and a bunch of Freeps went negative on Thompson, too. I'm tired of it.
I'm not a pubbie, so I suppose I'll let the GOP figure it out and go back to those threads in a couple months.
Wow! "let the GOP figure it out". That's a scarey concept!
