In my little corner of Texas, we are slightly outnumbered by the Mexican population now. It makes me sick to see what has happened to several of our store that used to be quality places to shop.
Every store that has been taken over my Mexican management has declined in quality and cleanliness. The vast majority of offices, store clerk, and first people you encounter are now Mexicans so they can converse with the non-English speaking.
Many areas of Texas are beginning to look like a 3rd world country. I knew we were in big trouble when I called city hall one day and the woman who answered the phone could almost speak enough English to understand me.

"We have a WAR down there along the Border and until Our Government realizes it"
The Government (Bush) know that, but keeping the drugs and cheap labor flowing is more important then protecting US citizens. These proceutions of law officers DOING THIER JOB should prove to one and all that drug money bought our government.

Now why the heck do they only apply this level of legal pressure to illegal shootings? If this was the trend for cops shooting citizens I might not have an issue with it.Same here, but it's not always possible to tell if the cop is dealing with a citizen or not until after the fact. They should think before they shoot just in case.
I do find it interesting to note that the only time the feds seem to care is when an illegal is involved.

Hey, our prosecutors are just persecuting law enforcment officials that illegal immigrants can't persecute themselves.
Err, or something like that.

I work for a company that does alot of business with Texas High Schools. I can pretty much count on the fact when I call the administration office in any part of south Texas, the person who answers speaks with a thick spanish accent.

I'm waiting for the apologists to chime in and argue how it's okay to prosecute border agents going after illegal aliens in quick decision potentially life/death situations. Especially to prosecute them more severely than the average murderer.
And maybe Duncan Hunter is not perfect and has congressional baggage, but we know he will enforce our border laws. Anyone pulling for one of the mainstream GOP frontrunners needs to ask themselves if they want 10-50 million more illegals in this country over the next 4-8 years.

Yeah, quite an eye opener. I was happy to receive a letter today from my 14th district Ohio representative informing me of his cosponsoring of House bill HR 563 pushing for immediate release of Ramos and Campeon. I'm still trying to figure out how a liberal district like my own maintains a republican seat in the House.

That is what I meant. Not that cops should make a shoot/no-shoot decision based on presumed legal status of the target, but that the prosecutors should pay attention to EVERY time there is a fishy incident, and NOT just the ones involving illegals. Police are not in the constitution and they certainly should not be above prosecution.
