I am a Goldwater-Reagan conservative that supports Rudy. If you cannot see the difference between Rudy and RAT leftists, you are blind. Too many Rudy haters are like the 8 year old that if the other kids don't play their way will just take their little red wagon and go home. WRONG IDEA. I respect the passion of your convictions. Rudy is liberal on social issues. Issues that aren't impacted much by a President.

Rudy haters

Rudy--------------------Hillary!

Anti-Gun----------------Anti-Gun
Pro-Abortion------------Pro-Abortion
Clinton Policy----------Clinton Policy
Gay-Loving--------------Gay-Loving
Looks awful in a dress---Ditto

I could go on but the Rudy-Lickers will continue to abandon the constitution and stab the unborn in the back no matter what. Rudy-Lickers love a man in drag.

If he gets the nomination I'm staying home for the first time ever or voting libertarian for the first time ever.

It won't make a nickel's worth of difference who wins.

hogwash.....every gun control act passed by congress was signed by 'Presidents'. Despite his promises, Rudy will not appoint strict constructionists to the bench...and Do you think Rudy will sign a congress generated bill that bans gay marriage....NEVER....you obviously have a uncanny nack for hiding these (and other) facts from yourself...

I think this Rudy "I am pro-choice and I believe presidents generally appoint people on the Supreme Court that they believe agree with them" confession should be posted to every thread and every post that tries to claim that the pro-choice Rudy would appoint any other kind of judge other than a pro-choice judge.
The man is an admitted abortionist and he most definitely will appoint abortionists to the court! He believes in "a woman's RIGHT to choose" and that Roe vs Wade is constitutional.

Rudy's own words say that a Presidents views on social issues make a difference.

Why are the Rudy PIMPS trying to shut up all conservatives one year before the primaries?

Could it be these type of people do not want any talk about issues just fake popularity polls?

I think I'm pretty much in your boat. I don't really care for Rudy's social positions, but I like Rudy, and I think this is why.

In the end, Giuliani's differences with the GOP's social conservatives will probably win him their respect. What kind of commander-in-chief would he be, after all, if they can bully him into embracing fake pieties?

Voters are tired of chameleons. You can see it in the lackluster momentum that Hillary and Romney are maintaining, and with the unusual star power that Obama and Guiliani are building.

I think that a similar event took place in the battle between Kerry/Bush. People might not like President Bush, but he has two distinct advantages over Kerry. He's for the war, and he's a solid person. Kerry is an etherial nuance, a human metaphor for a transparent sham. He doesn't say what he means or means what he says. You don't have to like President Bush, but he is what he is.

I think Rudy and Obama are popular for exactly that reason. Rudy may be a tough guy with a lot of leftist positions, and Obama may be an unreconstructed Marxist with a nice smile, but God bless em, they aren't ashamed to be what they are. All of the insincere chaff is going to get swept away, I suspect. The voters aren't in the mood for men who can be pushed around.

You really think a gun grabber is going to do well in our state?
