I am smokin' the net with the speed---of a snail. I don't think 21 kbps down and 108 kbps up is very good. I could probably do better with a 20 mule team.

Thank you Verizon FiOS - consistent, too. Not Business Class, either. Beats the crap out of Comcast/TimeWarner. The other night I downloaded 24MB in less than 10 seconds. Schweet!

3023/319. I pay for 3K download, so that's about right.

Yeah I find this site pretty accurate, and the chance it isnt you might be too far away from the testing server or there was some hiccup that can be eliminated by running the test again.
My speed is really good considering I am using a wireless connection, on Vista using XP drivers while another laptop and an XBox360 are connected to the net.

Sorry, just saw you had Comcast. BTW I used to be at least as fast until either the network got saturated or RR started throttling me.
FWIW here is another test at another site. It all depends on timing and servers

15585/1711/24ms.
I know it's actually higher, however. I observe 1.8 or 1.9 megabytes per second downloading bitTorrents and even single streams from fast servers that aren't too busy. I have fiber service.

I got: 964...124
Is that good???

That server gave me about 1/2 the performance of the NY one.
