TWO o'one!!
Anyone can get the 'hunnerds', it's the ONE that counts!
Greetings...we're back to racing after a bye week?
Who's following the Bassetball tourneys?
Feeling strong on the picks this week.
I've got the Big 10 (really, the Big 2 and Little 9) tourney on my radar. Damn ESPN for putting the Badger game on Minus last night so they could pimp the Little East and ACC, but at least CBS is picking up the slack (and I can "barely" get their HD signal).
Tagline was from Daytona, but it's still applicable after the break! Not a roundball fan anymore, the game has been butchered. Sure hope Nascar doesn't follow suit.
"Sometimes I feel invisible here."
Just getting caught-up and came across this.
WCG, believe me, you ain't!!!

Will Canadiens owner be new Evernham partner?
SCENEDAILY - 10:00AM ET SATURDAY MARCH 10, 2007 - BY BOB POCKRASS - ASSOCIATE EDITOR
Ray Evernham (right), pictured with driver Kasey Kahne, has spoken with Montreal Canadiens owner George Gillett about a partnership in NASCAR. MARK HAWKINSLAS VEGAS - Jack Roush went to baseball to find a new partner in his race team.
The next partner for a NASCAR team could come from the world of hockey and soccer.
George Gillett Jr., the owner of the Montreal Canadiens National Hockey League team and co-owner of the Liverpool soccer team in England, has talked with NASCAR teams, including Evernham Motorsports, team owner Ray Evernham confirmed Friday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
"I've talked to a lot of people," Evernham said. "George is one of the people I'm talking to. When I said I was looking for a partner [earlier this year], the phone has been ringing and ringing.
"I met George. He is a really cool guy. But we don't have anything done."
Evernham has invited Gillett to come to Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 this weekend.
"He's coming here as my guest this weekend," Evernham said. "He has sons that are in the business, and they're just cool people, and I've gotten to become pretty good friends with them."
Gillett, the former minority owner of the Miami Dolphins as well as a former co-owner of the Harlem Globetrotters, operates ski resorts and golf courses throughout the nation and has other business interests.
"He's a neat guy," Evernham said. "I've got my ears open. He's really an amazing entrepreneur. Just hanging out with him, I'm learning a lot of stuff."

Stewart: 'Worst Goodyear tire ... I have ever been on'
SCENEDAILY - 09:58AM ET SATURDAY MARCH 10, 2007 - BY BOB POCKRASS - ASSOCIATE EDITOR
Workers mount Goodyear tires in the Las Vegas Motor Speedway garage Friday. DAVID GRIFFIN / NASCAR SCENELAS VEGAS - Tony Stewart blasted the tire Goodyear brought to Las Vegas Motor Speedway after his qualifying attempt for the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 on Friday.
"I thought Daytona was one of the worst tires we have ever ran on, but I will guarantee you this is definitely the worst Goodyear tire I think I have ever been on in my entire nine years of driving [in the] Nextel Cup Series," Stewart said. "It never ceases to amaze me on how they can always trump their ace how bad they can build tires for us."
Goodyear obviously wasn't thrilled with the comment, but Goodyear racing sales and marketing director Greg Stucker said later that he respects the two-time Cup champion's input.
Stewart's team was one that never had a problem with the softer Goodyear tires on recently repaved tracks, so it's understandable that he would be frustrated with the harder tire, Stucker said.
Goodyear and NASCAR decided to bring a harder left-side tire than the one used in January for the test on the newly paved 1.5-mile oval, where the banking was changed from 12 to 20 degrees.
"We do have a lot of respect for his abilities and what he can feel in the race car," Stucker said. "Tony is one of those guys, him and his whole crew are pretty easy on stuff.
"He is one of those guys that could always make the softer combination work and work very well. That was to his advantage. As we've gone harder with some of our recommendations to accommodate what the coil-binding setups are doing to the tires, that maybe he almost feels like it penalizes him."
