If I were Bush I would make such a promise only after every single circuit court nominee is confirmed, and Reid promises to give any SCOTUS nominee an up or down vote.
Sounds like a good idea from a pragmatic point of view. But are we Democrats that we hang people out to dry for political purposes?? Not me!
