CNN
---
media is hammering the seriousness of the verdict, less likely to be successful in appeals due to 4 of 5 charges verdict.. appeals court would likely pass on reversing based on that.

He'll be fine. Bush will pardon him and then he goes out on the lecture circuit for big $$$$. It's too bad that he had to take the bullet for the WH but that's the risk you take working for government.

Judge Andrew Nap. on Fox saying it WAS a serious verdict and that Libby is looking at possibly 25 years hard time. He was convinced that Libby's otherwise brilliant atty. screwed up big time, in a number of ways.

How can you NOT put Wilson/Plame on the stand????

media is hammering on the seriousness of the verdict, less likely to be successful in appeals due to 4 of 5 chages [guilty] verdict...

That's so typical of the garbage spilled out by MSM outlets on a daily basis. You don't have to pass bar exams to realize that if the points argued on appeal pertain to all five counts, the number of counts on which he was found guilty is totally irrelevant.

My guess is that the outcome of the appeal will hinge largely on the party affiliations of the three-judge appelate panel that will hear the case.
