Good Lord in Heaven.
Like the saying goes, it takes all kinds, I guess.

Milestone FREEP 100 is the Friday before the March 17 Rally. Congratulations to all DC Freepers! Thank you for your dedication to the troops!
This means that the 2-year anniversary (#104) isn't far away either and I'm gonna miss all these milestones. :-(

I make that point as often as I can. Thanks!

Valor's good, but I think a better word to use would be Duty. A duty for someone who is a citizen to do what they can to help, serve and protect his/her nation, not necessarily for sake of self, but for family, friends, neighbors and the generations to come. Between the leftist educrats and the media I think the wisdom of that obligation has been denied to our youth, if not twisted into something that runs totally opposite.

I had a feeling. But since I spent the whole night across the street I trusted your list and figured maybe I missed something.

Zoomie, it was wonderful to see you and to talk with you and your husband. We all enjoyed admiring your wonderful kids! Their song and dance was fantastic! Hug them extra for us, please.

There's always an after-action
Hefeweizen or Blue Moon on my schedule.

It's a good way to put this in perspective. You did good and I'm going to use it myself if you don't mind. Thank you for what all you do.
To: BufordP
said telling a soldier that you don't like him doing what he's doing is much the same as telling a fireman you don't like them putting out fires, telling a cop you don't like them catching criminals. They had never thought of it that way.
Either we're really really smart or there are a lot of really dumb people out there. This is so obviously!

How about an after action Guinness?
I'll just have a sip o'yours. This Irish lass has a wee tolerance for the spirits. :) It was sooo wonderful to have the whole Zoomie81 clan at the FReep! Specially the miniZoomies.

>>Wind was only slightly blowing so it was banner time again. As I was putting up the red banner on the southwest corner, I watched as the MOAB was also being put together. After a long period of wind, rain and snow, it was good to once again see the MOAB up.<<
I'm curious - what does MOAB mean in this context?
Moab is a country in the bible and MoAb is a biology term but in all caps, I've only seen MOAB mean kind of very powerful kind bomb... I assume there is another meaning?
BTW, very cool to see you supporting the soldiers -the last thing they need is protesters condemning them without any Americans showing up to make it clear there are people who support our troops.

Figured it out - Mother Of All Banners... I didn't get it til I was setting the picture of y'all holding up the giant banner as my Windows wallpaper. I thinking MOAB as in Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bomb instead of the nickname.
