More at the link. The reviewer thinks the movie follows the book well.

Actually, I would like to know something about the spoilers.

Is there anything that might spoil the movie for someone that has read the book? (And I only read it once, shame on me.) Major changes or giving away any sort of technical/visual "surprise" or something of that nature?

Just wondering. Thanks.

Thanks! My chief complaint of the movies is how BAD the current "Dumbledore" is. He was a raving lunatic in GOF and worse in the previous flick. He is NO RICHARD HARRIS by any means and altered the very character of the movies with his abysmal portrayal of this key character.

The "Azkaban" flick was directed poorly in comparison with the first two movies, which were "masterful" in the portrayal of the feeling of the books.

GOF was a step up. A lot of material to cover in two hours.

If they can just smooth out the telling of the story without chopping it to piece they'll do fine.

By spoiler, do you mean they tell you how it ends?

:)

Considering I read the book, I'm not terribly worried about movie spoilers...

Can't wait! 5th movie (and it actually sounds decent for once) and the final book both within 2-3 weeks. It's kind of nice having the series spread out over a period of 10-12 years. Really cool to see the series I grew up on as a young kid evolve as I'm getting older.
