Maybe the son just didn't want some freak of a "stepmother" showing up at family events -- especially a graduation at a reputable Catholic prep school in New Jersey.
BTW -- the kid wasn't even seven years old when he was horsing around at his father's 1993 inauguration, so maybe you should cut him a little slack instead of calling him a "little pr!ck" like that.

Andrew probably was also concerned that when the grads started praying, singing hymns, and getting blessed, his stepmother would have felt "uncomfortable." Sweet Jesus, the woman might have totally freaked out.
