Its a modification of the same airframe. Very little commonality between a Prowler and an Intruder.

Very little commonality between a Prowler and an Intruder. Not as much as one would think looking at an A-6, but they did have the same J-52 based engines, and many other basic parts were the same. Weapons systems were of course completely different.
