Any way you cut it, we lose in '08. I'm very concerned that the conservative right is about to get pushed to margins in the same way the liberal left has been. i.e., welcome to the pay-no-mind list.

Your fear is what is behind the vehement attacks on Giuliani. If these attacks continue and increase then I expect what you say will become true. But the conservatives need not marginalize themself. Keep fighting in the primaries, unite around one candidate, do not become an enemy of Giuliani though not a supporter. This makes the chance of a strongly conservative VP likely.

Such an event would mean that the conservative movement remains viable and would set up a potential victory later on.

You do not seriously believe that: 1)Americans will elect a hard core conservative; or 2) they have a true view of what a conservative even is.

You are correct , the conservative right does not have a Horse in this race. I will agree with you on that. The Republican will win though, that I promise you.
