Moose, of BOTH sexes, can be very belligerent and quite unpredictable. I know several hunters who have been treed by them whilst deer hunting, etc. They tend not to fear man. They've been known to purposely take on vehicles and even the occasional TRAIN....!!

When a 1000+ pound animal charges you...they generally WIN the argument.
The funny part, for me anyway, is that the fish & game guys get all high and mighty about game and pretend like they never screw up.
