Georgia will send more troops in Iraq and it will also boost troops in the NATO-led mission in Afghanistan. Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili said on Sunday his country would send more troops to Iraq.

"We intent to increase our participation in Iraq and offer more help to our American and Iraqi colleagues," Saakashvili said. Georgia currently has about 850 troops deployed in Iraq.

Georgian president also said the country will send troops to Afghanistan to take part in the NATO operation there. Georgia took part in the NATO-led mission in Afghanistan in 2004.

Now here is a country that is able to bow up against Russia and still send troops to support our good missions. It chokes me up to have such good friends.

But the DBM and the democrats we were the only ones there and that we were a unilateral force. God bless the country of Georgia for stepping up. They understand the consequences of this war.
