The future is hard to predict. But I don't see how Rudy would do better for republicans in California than Arnold, a "republican" governor, did -- and he was no help at all down-ticket, even though the democrats ran pretty awful candidates.
Do you see any Republican having a chance to take California?
Two RINOS appearing together. Gee, what a surprise.
No, because the GOP will write it off early, as they always do. CA is nothing but a fundraising ATM for the political parties who only rarely contest the status quo, safe in their balkanized, gerrymandered incumbentstans.

Print media is old news--or, more accurately, propaganda based on old news.
Besides, dead trees are the enemy of the planet, hastening its descent into a burning ball of fire.
Its so desperate...and so early on, one could give them a freebee for panic on the battlefield,
ya know....Bull Run with carriages/parasols/top hats.

You would think the above would be rally points for Conservatives here,...but noooo.
There's an obvious double standard.
and possibly triple standard,......as some will suicide into the Diebold voting machine,
rather than see the Republicans win in 08.
Perfect analysis!
Divided over what? Partisan allegiance? Cultural mores? Religious precepts? Language?
All of the above.
I want to apologize for my statement to you in #167.
It was uncalled for and personal, and I am very sorry.
Did I say anything that was untrue?
What you read into my comment reveals much about you.
Try growing a thicker skin.
Yeah, I knew most of this about him. That's why I've said for so long that he has too much baggage. Serving his wife with divorce papers when she was dying with cancer was the final straw for me.
He is a brilliant politician espousing Conservative causes but a scum bag is still a scum bag.
Italian = tough in NYC.
