To: Victoria Delsoul

Should be interesting to see if they really do throw a fit and don't vote. This time if they don't vote, there will be other groups lining up to fill that seat at the table! They better think long and hard and not pull a stunt like they did in 2006 because they will lose their seat at the table when we win in Nov 2008 without their support if we have to. I mean that WE as part of the Republican Party and as part of Team Rudy both of who I am proud to be a member.

Absolutely. As I have said many times before, the independents will put Rudy over the top.

And what of the other GOP candidates who will appear on the 2008 ticket? That's what few folks want to acknowledge; a Rudy nomination will result in disaster for downticket races. It will also dry up much of the legwork/volunteerism. While the socons may be an inconvenience to many in the GOP, the fact of the matter is that independents don't donate their time and money to elect candidates.
