Rudy is the only one who has been beating the Dems consistently in polls.

If 1,000 poll respondents were asked tomorrow to name everyone they knew of who was running for President, how many would even know Romney's name?

Of course the candidate with greater name recognition will have a better showing in the polls. Rudy Giuliani was canonized in the national news in 2001, so everyone knows his name. How many people even know that Mitt Romney is a governor someplace?

I believe that as the difference between Rudy Giliani and Mitt Romney become apparent, this will be good for Romney and bad for Giuliani.

I agree with that. I really don't know much about Romney; I've never even heard him speak. I am not just looking for a candidate who holds similar views, but a candidate who can get the country behind him, and get things done. I think Giuliani could be that guy, but maybe not the only guy.

Ditto that. And the more people hear Romney speak on Iran and the war on radical Islam, the more they'll understand that he has a much clearer idea of what to do about it.

I'm not crazy about Mitt's stated reason for his conversion on abortion (I kind of think he was lying to Massachusettes voters when he said he was pro-choice... and that does bother me), but on everything else, I like Romney more and more with each passing day.
