Rationalization is an amazing thing.

I hope I am never inflicted with it.

But I do think that your dragging the Bible into this discussion is really clouding your judgement...

Very telling.

That's going to win you another legion of supporters! /sarc

He is also a Socialist, and yes they do sometimes fight each other.

Just look at Stalin and Hitler.

NOW is the time to get a conservative candidate...but who exactly is that?

In what ways is Rudy Giuliani superior to Mitt Romney?

How are YOU being "forced to pay" for someone's abortion?

From Rudys own lips:

I've said that I'll uphold a woman's right of choice, that I will fund abortion so that a poor woman is not deprived of a right that others can exercise,Source Sept. 1, 1989 edition of Newsday.

Rudy ain't talking about whipping out his checkbook and 'funding' abortions. He's talking about using money that was extracted from me at the point of a gun by the Government.

Rudy is a liar and a fraud.

You're supporting a liar and a fraud.

"McCain is my guy. I respect his military heroism and he right on the war and the moral issues. His loyalty to Bush is a good quality too. He was divorced. But, he has remained faithful to his second wife. We all can make a mistake and learn from it."

McCain is old (72 or 74) and frankly may not have the temperament for the job - is a hot head and some have questioned his stability as a result - like Michael Reagan who had McCain blow up on the air at him in 2000...

You obviously want an elected official to ignore the laws instituted, long ago, by his city and state and to also permit
lawless anarchy. That's an interesting position you have; to say the least.

Rudy Giuliani sought to use his mayoral office to file baseless lawsuits against gun companies not for the purpose of winning money for his city, but rather for the purpose of putting them out of business. He clearly believed that, as mayor of one city, he had the authority to impose nationwide his own "gun control" agenda that legislatures had turned down.

Thank you. You explained better than I could why he is a tyrant at heart.

And some people want to put him in charge of the executive branch where he'll have more force than a bunch of city lawyers behind him. No thank you. No THANK you.

I've known he was a BircherBuchananiteDUTrollDemInfiltratorMobyStormfronter all along! Are you kidding me! Reagan hardly ever balanced the budget! Reagan didn't control the border! Reagan gave amnesty to millions of illegal aliens too! You can bet Hillary won't control the borders or balance the budget!! You can bet Pelosi won't control the borders or balance the budget! We're at war! He's supporting the terrorists!! When campaigning, President Bush never said that he wanted absolute control of the border! He's unappeasable! What a malcontent!! He's a racistxenophobantihispanicnazibigot who hates Mexicans!!! He's a secret member of Stormfront!!! He wants to turn it all over to the Democrats!!!!!! He's never been a real conservative!!! He hates Bush!! He wouldn't say any of this if he wasn't a Bush basher!!! He hates Republicans too!!! What does he want, for everyone to vote third party!!?!! Shut up, Go away!!! We don't need your support anyway!! We don't need the votes of the so-called "conservatives" that you're talking about because they're just a bunch of moronic, right-wing, extremist, fringe whacko, malcontent, unappeasable, fake conservative, democrat loving, stupid hicks who want Hillary for President and Pelosi for speaker!!! They probably never voted for Republicans in the first place! They're just Democrats trying to ruin our chances! The polls are lying!!! Look at their sign up date, anything after mine is suspect. Of course there have always been personal attacks, but they are far more prevalent now. That is fairly obvious.

This is the part where they tell you that you can't dredge up old positions, because Rudy's changed. In the next breath you'll be told to support Rudy because he served in the Reagan Administration.

I'm so glad I don't choose to support candidates that force me to set aside all my logic. It must be truly difficult to support someone when all the evidence points against you.

I have to include myself in the group of voters here in
Florida that didn't vote for Buchanan in the November
elections. There were many "under votes" and I am one
of them.

I've talked to a lot of people that have claimed the same
attitude at the time. I can tell you, a protest "non-vote"
will never happen with me again.

I'm not one to sit home and completely protest my selection
not being up for the highest seat at the time. I'll hold my
nose, but I'll still want that candidate to know:

"WE ARE ALL WATCHING"

The purpose of a primary is to nominate the Republican candidate who is most likely to WIN against the Dem nominee.

This is NOT a game, the fate of the US and our very lives are at stake, literally.

The level of discussion has deteriorated on this forum lately and when it comes to insulting Rudy AND his supporters, literally anything goes.

Typical Clintonian "politics of personal destruction" tactic.
Nobody's criticizing Rudy, as FReeper Liz stated all we're doing is pointing out the FACTS of Rudy's political career, which is more liberal than most Democrats.

If you can't deal with THE FACTS, that's your problem.

Unbelievable. Originally there were rules here about personal attacks. Now they happen by the thousands.

There you go again. Pointing out Rudy's liberal record is "attacking" him, just like when Ann Coulter pointed out that Max Cleland injured himself playing with a grenade the Left said she was "attacking" him too.
