A lot of Taiwanese think that China wouldn't want to destroy so much equipment and goods etc. on Taiwan.

They are crazy. China doesn't care a flip about that. They'd neutron bomb the place, destroy all life and scoop up the equipment in a flash.

Cedrtainly China cares SOME about money. Greed is alive and well there.

But compared to pride--greed is a very poor second.
